Learn how to add new clients in Britixo and complete their full profiles, including address, contact information, VAT details, and client group settings. Proper setup ensures seamless invoicing, project assignments, and portal access.

In this guide, you'll learn how to create a client record in Britixo using the "New Client" form, set billing preferences, and prepare the account for future use in modules like tasks, tickets, and contracts.

🔹 Step-by-Step: Add a New Client in Britixo.

  1. Log in to your Britixo account at https://britixo.com/app/login.

  2. In the left-hand menu, go to Customers → Clients.

  3. Click the “New Client” button at the top right corner of the page.

Fill Out the Client Creation Form.

Company Information
Enter the client’s Company Name. This is the main name that will appear on all records and documents.
Optionally enter the VAT Number, Phone, Mobile, and Website.

Client Group (Optional)
Assign the client to one or more groups to help segment your database (e.g., Retail, VIP, Commercial). These are custom-defined in your CRM.

Billing Preferences
Select the Default Currency, Language, and Country for this client. These settings apply to invoices, quotes, and client communication.

Enter the Client’s Address.

Fill in the client’s full address:

  • Street Address

  • City

  • State/County

  • Postcode/ZIP

  • Country

These fields are important for documentation, tax, and audit purposes.

Configure Client Access Options.

You’ll also see a few client portal settings:

  • Show Primary Contact in Client Area – Enable if you'll be adding a contact who needs to log in.

  • Disable Client Area – Prevents the client from logging into the portal.

  • Send Set Password Email – Sends a secure link to the client to set their login credentials.

Final Step: Save the Client.

  1. After reviewing all details, click “Save”.

Britixo will create the client profile and redirect you to the client dashboard, where you can continue to:

  • Add contacts

  • Upload documents

  • Create tasks or invoices

  • Track communication and activity
