How to Reset a Client’s Portal Password in Britixo?
Britixo allows you to reset a client contact's portal password if they forget their login credentials or request new access. You can manually send a reset link or assign a new password directly from the client contact settings.
This guide explains how to reset a client’s password securely using the correct options within their contact profile.
🔹 Step-by-Step: Reset a Client's Password
🧭 Open the Client Profile
Log in to Britixo at https://britixo.com/app/login.
Go to Customers → Clients from the left menu.
Click on the Client Name to open their profile.
👤 Access the Contact Details
Click the Contacts tab within the client profile.
Find the contact who needs a password reset.
Click the Edit icon (🖉) next to their name.
🔑 Reset the Password
Scroll to the Password section in the contact edit form.
You now have two options:
Manual Reset:
Enter a new password in the Password field.
Confirm it in the Repeat Password field.
Click Save to apply the new password.
You can then share this manually with the client via secure means.
Send Set Password Email:
Instead of entering a new password, tick the box “Send Set Password Email” (if enabled).
Britixo will send the contact an email with a link to set their password themselves.
Note: The email option will only work if SMTP is properly configured in your system.

Never send passwords through insecure channels (e.g., plain email or chat).
Use the Send Set Password Email option whenever possible for better security.
Ensure the client contact’s email is correct before sending the reset link.
