4️⃣ Testing Your Payment Gateway

Before accepting live payments:

  1. Enable Sandbox/Testing mode in the gateway’s settings (if available).

  2. Create a test invoice and process a payment using test credentials.

  3. Confirm that the payment status updates correctly in Britixo.

5️⃣ Tips for Using Payment Gateways in Britixo

  • Enable multiple gateways to offer your clients flexibility.

  • Always use HTTPS (SSL) on your Britixo installation for secure transactions.

  • Keep your API keys and credentials private — never share them in unsecured messages.

  • For recurring billing, choose a gateway that supports subscriptions (e.g., Stripe, GoCardless, Braintree).

✅ Summary

Britixo makes it simple to accept online payments with both built-in and add-on payment gateways. Built-in gateways are activated in minutes, while third-party gateways can be installed as modules for additional options. Configuring the right payment methods ensures a smooth experience for both your team and your clients, helping you get paid faster.
