How to Set Up Notifications (Email, In-App, Slack, etc.) in Britixo?
Notifications in Britixo keep your team informed in real-time through email, in-app popups, or third-party integrations like Slack. You can fully control what type of updates you and your staff receive.
A. Configure Staff Notification Settings:

Log in to Britixo
Head to https://britixo.com/app/login -
Go to My Profile
Click on your profile image (top-right) → Select My Profile -
Open Notification Preferences
Under the Notifications tab, you’ll see a list of modules and trigger events. -
Enable/Disable Notifications
Tick the boxes for:-
Email Notification
-
In-App Notification
-
Push Notification (if available)
Modules include:

Projects
-
Tasks
-
Invoices
-
Tickets
-
Messages
-
Support Replies, etc.

Save Changes
Click Save to update your preferences.
B. Configure Admin/Global Notification Settings.

Navigate to Setup → Settings → Notifications
Only Admins will see this section. -
Choose Module-Wise Notifications
Toggle which events trigger notifications:-
New client added

Task assigned
-
Invoice overdue
-
Project status changed
-
Ticket reply submitted, etc.

Assign Notification Recipients
You can assign notifications to specific roles, departments, or staff members.
C. Enable Slack Notifications (Optional).

Go to Setup → Settings → Slack Integration

Enter your Slack Webhook URL

You can get this from your Slack Workspace under:
Admin → Apps → Incoming Webhooks

Choose Events to Send to Slack
-
e.g., New Invoice Created, Ticket Reply Received

Save and test integration
D. Client Notifications.

Go to Setup → Settings → Email Templates

Enable/disable notification emails for:

New invoice
-
Ticket updates
-
Estimate approvals
-
Project comments
-

Clients will only receive emails for actions affecting them.
Tips:

Encourage team members to personalise their notification settings

Disable unnecessary alerts to reduce email clutter

Use Slack for team-wide real-time alerts if email is too slow
