✅ How to Set Up Your Branding & PDF Templates in Britixo?

Setting up your branding ensures that all documents generated within Britixo — like invoices, proposals, contracts, and statements — carry your company identity.

👥 Step-by-Step Instructions:

🎨

🖼️ A. Upload Your Company Logo

  1. Log in to Britixo
Go to https://britixo.com/app/login and sign in.

  2. Go to General Settings
    Navigate to:
    Setup → Settings → General

  3. Scroll to the Branding Section
    Locate the fields labeled:

    • Company Logo (PDF Documents)

    • Favicon (used in browser tabs)

  4. Upload Logo File

    • Click Upload next to each field

    • Choose a high-quality PNG or JPG image (recommended size: 300x80px for logo)

  5. Click “Save Settings”
Your logo will now appear on invoices, estimates, and other PDFs.

📄 B. Configure PDF Templates

  1. Go to PDF Templates Settings
    From the sidebar:
    Setup → Settings → PDF

  2. Choose a PDF Type to Customise
    You’ll see templates for:

    • Invoice

    • Estimate

    • Proposal

    • Payment Receipt

    • Statement
Click on any to open the editor.

  3. Edit Template Layout

    • Choose from different layouts (Standard, Elegant, Compact, etc.)

    • Enable/disable items like:

      • Client phone number

      • Staff notes

      • Company VAT or registration number

      • Payment terms

  4. Add Custom Footer or Legal Text
Scroll down to the Custom Footer / Legal Text box.
    You can add:

    • Terms & conditions

    • Refund policy

    • GDPR statement

    • Payment instructions

  5. Preview Your PDF
Use the Preview button to see what your document looks like before saving.

  6. Click “Save Settings”
Once satisfied, click Save. These settings apply to all future documents of that type.

📌 Optional: Customise PDF Colours

  • Still in PDF Settings, you’ll see options to adjust:

    • Header background colour

    • Table border colour

    • Text colour

Use hex codes or select from the colour picker to match your brand identity.

🧠 Pro Tips:

  • Use a white background logo with transparent edges (PNG) for best results

  • Test your PDF with different clients to check layout alignment

  • Add your legal terms once to reduce risk on every invoice or quote
