📘 Introduction:

Britixo simplifies recurring billing by allowing you to create invoices that repeat automatically at your preferred intervals. Ideal for subscriptions, retainers, or ongoing services, recurring invoices save time, improve cash flow, and reduce manual billing errors.


🔁 Step-by-Step: Set Up a Recurring Invoice

1. Create a New Invoice

  • From your Britixo dashboard, navigate to Sales > Invoices

  • Click the New Invoice button at the top right


2. Select a Client

  • Choose the appropriate client from the dropdown

  • Client information will populate automatically


3. Enable Recurring Invoice

  • Below the invoice details, tick the checkbox labeled Recurring Invoice?

This activates additional options.


4. Configure Recurring Invoice Options

Set up the recurring schedule with these options:

  • Repeat Every:
    Choose the frequency (e.g., weekly, monthly, yearly)

  • Start Date:
    Date when the first recurring invoice is created/sent

  • End Date (Optional):
    When recurring invoices should stop (leave blank for indefinite)

  • Cycles (Optional):
    Define the exact number of invoices to generate before auto-stopping


5. Enter Invoice Items

  • Add line items (products/services) just like a regular invoice

  • Include any taxes, discounts, or notes as usual

Recurring invoices copy these details each time they are generated.


6. Save the Recurring Invoice

  • Click Save to store the recurring invoice setup

  • Britixo will automatically create/send invoices based on your schedule


⚙️ Managing Recurring Invoices

  • Go to Sales > Recurring Invoices to view or manage active recurring invoices

  • You can:

    • Pause or stop a recurring invoice

    • Edit recurring invoice details or schedule

    • View invoice history generated by each recurring invoice setup


📅 Invoice Generation and Sending

  • Britixo generates recurring invoices automatically based on your setup

  • Clients receive invoices via email automatically if the setting is enabled

  • Each invoice includes a secure payment link (if configured)


✅ Pro Tips:

  • Use recurring invoices for subscription services, monthly retainers, or maintenance plans

  • Regularly review recurring invoice setups to ensure accuracy and currency

  • Set end dates or cycles to prevent indefinite billing, if desired.
