✅ How to Assign Leads to Staff and Use Permissions in Britixo?

In Britixo, every lead can be assigned to a specific staff member for follow-up and tracking. You can also control which users are allowed to view, edit, or manage leads based on their role and permissions.

This article explains how to assign leads to staff and manage lead visibility using the system’s permission controls.

🔹 Assigning Leads to Staff Members

  1. Log in to Britixo at https://britixo.com/app/login.

  2. Go to Sales → Leads.

  3. Find the lead you want to assign.

  4. Click the edit icon (🖉) next to the lead, or open the lead and click Edit in the profile.

  5. In the Assigned field, select a staff member from the dropdown list.

  6. Click Save.

Once assigned, that staff member will be notified if notifications are enabled and will see the lead in their dashboard and reports.

🔐 Lead Visibility Based on Staff Permissions

Staff members can only view leads based on the permissions set in their role. Here’s how access is controlled:

  • View Own Leads Only – User can only see leads they’re assigned to.

  • View All Leads – User can see all leads in the system, regardless of assignment.

  • Create, Edit, Delete – Granular permissions control whether a user can create new leads, edit assigned ones, or delete leads entirely.

🔧 How to Set or Adjust Permissions

  1. Go to Setup → Staff → Roles.

  2. Click on the role you want to edit (e.g., Sales Executive).

  3. Under the Leads section, select:

  • View (Own / Global)

  • Create / Edit / Delete

  • View Attachments / Activity

  1. Click Save Role to apply changes.

New permissions will take effect immediately for all staff under that role.

🧠 Tip

Use lead assignment along with reminders and status updates to ensure no lead goes untouched. Regularly review unassigned or stale leads to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
