✅ How to Convert Proposals into Invoices or Projects in Britixo
Once a client accepts your proposal in Britixo, you can immediately convert it into an invoice, estimate, or project without re-entering any details. This feature streamlines your workflow and ensures smooth transition from pitch to billing or delivery.
This article walks you through converting accepted proposals into actionable modules.
Open the Accepted Proposal
Log in to Britixo at https://britixo.com/app/login.
Go to Sales → Proposals.
Find the proposal with Status: Accepted.
Click on the proposal to open it.
If the proposal is still pending or declined, it cannot be converted. Make sure the client has approved it via the portal, or manually mark it as Accepted if approved offline.
Convert to Invoice, Estimate, or Project
Inside the proposal view, click the Convert To button at the top-right.
Select one of the following:
Invoice – To begin billing immediately
Estimate – To send a formal quotation
Project – To launch project delivery workflow
Adjust Details in the Target Module
Britixo will automatically populate the selected module with:
Client information
Proposal content
Items or pricing (if structured in the proposal)
Assigned staff and tags
Notes (if any)
Review and update the form if needed:
For invoices: Set due dates and add tax rules
For projects: Define timelines, billing type, and project settings
For estimates: Set expiry date and make adjustments if required
Click Save to finalise.
Proposal Status Update
After conversion, the original proposal remains unchanged with its status as Accepted. The linked invoice, estimate, or project becomes part of the client's record.
You can always revisit the proposal for reference or download it for documentation.
Tip
Always make sure your proposal layout includes structured pricing or deliverables before converting to ensure smooth data transfer. Customise your proposal templates to streamline recurring workflows.
