✅ How to Create and Manage To-Do Lists in Britixo?

Britixo lets you create professional proposals that outline your services, pricing, and project details. Proposals can be sent directly to clients for approval, and once accepted, they can be converted into estimates, invoices, or projects.

This article explains how to create, edit, and send proposals from within Britixo.


🔹 Create a New Proposal

  1. Log in to Britixo at https://britixo.com/app/login.

  2. Go to Sales → Proposals.

  3. Click the New Proposal button.


📝 Fill in Proposal Details

  1. In the proposal creation screen, complete the following fields:

  • Subject – Title of the proposal (e.g., Website Design for ABC Ltd)

  • Related – Link the proposal to an existing client or lead

  • Email – Client’s email address

  • Proposal Date – Defaults to today (editable)

  • Open Till – Expiration date for the proposal

  • Proposal Status – Draft, Open, Sent, Accepted, Declined

  • Assigned Staff – Team member handling the proposal

  • Currency – Based on client (can be changed)

  • Tags – Optional for tracking

  • Notes – Internal notes for your team (not shown to client)


✍️ Add Proposal Content

  1. Use the WYSIWYG editor to type or paste in the body of your proposal.

  • You can include text, pricing tables, images, and formatted sections

  • Use merge fields like {proposal_to} or {total} to auto-fill client details or totals

  • You may also upload attachments (optional)


💾 Save or Send the Proposal

  1. Click:

  • Save as Draft – To edit later

  • Save and Send – Opens the email modal for delivery

  • Preview – To see how the client will view the proposal


✉️ Send via Email

  1. If sending, customise the email message:

  • Review the subject and message body

  • Attach the PDF (auto-generated)

  • Add CC/BCC as needed

  • Click Send

Clients will receive the proposal link and can view it on any device.


✅ What Clients Can Do

  • Approve or decline the proposal via secure client portal

  • Download the proposal as a PDF

  • Leave a comment or note (optional)

  • Accepted proposals are updated in real-time with status: Accepted


🔄 Convert Proposal After Acceptance

  • Open the accepted proposal

  • Click Convert To

  • Choose to convert into:

    • Estimate

    • Invoice

    • Project

The system will carry forward all relevant data into the chosen module.


🧠 Tip

Use proposals to pitch services, outline deliverables, or include full quotes in a branded document. Proposals help close deals faster by giving clients all they need in one place.
