✅ How to Import and Export Leads Using CSV Files in Britixo

Britixo allows you to quickly upload large numbers of leads from external sources using a structured CSV file. You can also export your leads for reporting, backup, or data migration purposes.

This article explains how to properly import and export leads in Britixo, step by step.

🔹 Importing Leads from a CSV File

  1. Log in to Britixo at https://britixo.com/app/login.

  2. Go to Sales → Leads.

  3. Click the Import button located at the top right.

📥 Step-by-Step Import Process

  1. On the import screen, click Download Sample File to review the correct CSV format.

The sample includes columns like:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Phone

  • Company

  • Assigned Staff

  • Status

  • Source

  • Address

  • Custom Fields (if available)

  1. Prepare your CSV file to match the structure. Make sure:

  • The file is saved in .csv format (comma-separated values).

  • Mandatory fields (e.g., Name or Email) are included.

  • Emails are valid and properly formatted.

  1. Click Upload File and choose your CSV file.

  2. Map each column from your file to the appropriate field in Britixo.

  3. Set default values for any missing fields (e.g., status or source).

  4. Click Import to begin the upload.

✅ After Import

  • Britixo will display a summary of successful and failed imports.

  • Any rows with errors will be skipped and listed in a separate file for review.

🔸 Exporting Leads from Britixo

  1. Go to Sales → Leads.

  2. Use filters or search to narrow down the list (optional).

  3. Click the Export button at the top right.

  4. Choose Export CSV.

Your file will be downloaded containing all visible leads, including standard and custom fields.

🧠 Tip

Always clean and validate your lead list before import to reduce duplication and ensure data quality. Use tags or custom fields during import to track the origin of bulk entries.
