✅ How to Set Up Recurring Invoices and Auto-Billing in Britixo
Britixo allows you to automate your billing cycle using recurring invoices. This is ideal for businesses offering subscriptions, retainers, or regular service plans. Once configured, Britixo will generate invoices automatically at the interval you define.
This article explains how to create recurring invoices and set up auto-billing schedules.
Create a Recurring Invoice
Log in to Britixo at https://britixo.com/app/login.
Go to Sales → Invoices.
Click New Invoice and fill in the details as usual.
Enable Recurring Settings
In the invoice creation screen, scroll to the Recurring Invoice Options section.
Recurring Invoice – Set this to Yes
Repeat Every – Choose interval: days, weeks, months, or years
Cycles – Number of times to repeat; leave blank for unlimited
Next Recurring Date – When the next invoice will be automatically created
Automatically Send Invoice to Customer – Enable if you want invoices to be emailed without manual action
Finalise Invoice Content
Add your invoice items, notes, and terms as usual.
Click Save.
The first invoice is created immediately, and future invoices will be generated based on the schedule.
All recurring invoices are listed under Sales → Invoices → Recurring.
Automatically Send Recurring Invoices
If auto-send is enabled, Britixo will email each generated invoice using your SMTP server (included with every plan).
You’ll see the log of each generated invoice and its sent status.
Manage Recurring Invoices
To view, edit, or stop a recurring invoice:
Go to Sales → Invoices → Recurring.
Click the invoice you want to manage.
Use the following options:
Edit Recurrence – Change interval, next date, or stop it
View Invoice History – See all previously generated invoices
Pause or Delete – Pause temporarily or stop permanently (deletes future recurrence only)
Tip
For clients on regular retainers or product subscriptions, set up recurring invoices with automatic sending to ensure timely billing and zero missed revenue.
