✅ Understanding Task Status and Priorities in Britixo

📘 Introduction:

In Britixo, each task can be assigned a status and a priority level. These settings help teams manage progress and stay focused on urgent deliverables. Understanding and using them correctly allows you to visualise workload, prioritise assignments, and track completion across projects.

🧭 Understanding Task Status in Britixo.

Task statuses show the current stage of a task. You can customise or reorder statuses as needed.

🔘 Default Task Statuses:

  1. Not Started

  2. In Progress

  3. Testing

  4. Awaiting Feedback

  5. Complete

🛠️ Admins can add or rename task statuses from
Setup > Settings > Tasks > Task Statuses

🔄 How to Change a Task’s Status:

  1. Go to Tasks

  2. Click a task to open it

  3. Select the new status from the Status dropdown

  4. Click Save

🔔 Task updates may notify assigned staff and/or clients, depending on notification settings.

📊 Task Completion.

  • Tasks marked as Complete are considered done.

  • Project progress bars can be set to update automatically based on task completion.

🧭 Task Priorities in Britixo.

Each task can be assigned a priority level to indicate its urgency or importance.

🔺 Available Priority Levels:

  1. Low

  2. Medium

  3. High

  4. Urgent

Priority affects sorting and filtering but does not trigger automatic notifications.

🔄 How to Change a Task’s Priority:

  1. Open the task

  2. Use the Priority dropdown

  3. Save changes

✅ Best Practices:

  • Use status to reflect the actual stage of work.

  • Use priority to decide which tasks to work on first.

  • Combine filters (e.g. High Priority + In Progress) for better task focus.

  • Keep statuses consistent across departments to avoid confusion.
