How Clients Accept or Decline a Proposal in Britixo.
📘 Introduction:
Britixo provides a seamless experience for your clients to accept or decline proposals directly through a secure link. This eliminates back-and-forth and ensures that your team gets immediate feedback on each offer.
👁️ 1. Client Receives the Proposal
When you send a proposal:
The client receives an email with a unique access link
Clicking the link opens the proposal in a web browser, without needing to log in
📄 2. Proposal View for Clients
Clients can:
Read the full proposal
Download a PDF version
View pricing, terms, and notes
If the proposal is active (not expired), clients will see action buttons at the bottom:
Accept
Decline
If a digital signature is required:
The Sign & Accept option will appear instead
✍️ 3. Accepting a Proposal
To accept the proposal:
The client clicks Accept or Sign & Accept
If signature is required:
A signature box appears
They can sign using a mouse or touchscreen
Click Confirm
Britixo will:
Change the status to Accepted
Store the digital signature and timestamp
Notify staff members (via email or system alert)
❌ 4. Declining a Proposal
If the client clicks Decline:
A text box will prompt them to add an optional reason
The proposal status will update to Declined
The reason (if added) will appear in the activity log
🔒 5. What the Client Sees After Action
Once accepted or declined, the action buttons are disabled
The client can still view the proposal, but not interact with it
The system logs the date and action taken
✅ Tips:
Use polite and clear messaging in the proposal email
Enable signature for high-value or contractual proposals
Always review declined reasons to improve future proposals.
