✅ Tracking Proposal Activity and Audit Logs in Britixo.

📘 Introduction:

Britixo records detailed logs for every proposal, helping your team track the proposal lifecycle from creation to acceptance. This ensures accountability, helps with timely follow-ups, and provides a full audit trail for internal and external reference.

📊 Where to Find the Proposal Activity Log

📄 1. Open a Proposal

  • Navigate to Sales > Proposals

  • Click View next to the proposal you want to inspect

📜 2. Scroll Down to “Activity”

At the bottom of the proposal view page, you’ll see the Activity Log section.
This area logs a detailed timeline of all actions taken, including:

  • ✅ Proposal created

  • ✏️ Edited by staff

  • 📧 Sent to client

  • 👁️ Viewed by client (with timestamp)

  • 🔔 Reminder sent

  • 📝 Signed and accepted by client

  • ❌ Declined or marked as expired

  • 🔄 Cloned or converted to invoice/project

  • 📂 Attachments added or removed

🔍 Details Captured

Each entry in the log includes:

  • The action type

  • The staff member or client who performed it

  • The exact date and time

  • A brief description (e.g., “Client viewed the proposal at 14:05”)

🧑‍💼 Use Cases

  • 📬 Follow up after a proposal is viewed but not accepted

  • 🕵️ Track team activity on proposals under review

  • ✅ Confirm whether a client opened or interacted with a proposal

  • 🔒 Provide a legal record of client acceptance (with signature)

🔗 Accessing Logs in Bulk

While the detailed log is per proposal, you can also use the:

  • Proposals List to sort by status or dates

  • Reports > Sales Reports to analyse conversions and views at scale

✅ Tips:

  • Use activity logs for team reviews and audits

  • Combine log insights with status filters for effective sales follow-ups

  • The logs cannot be edited—ensuring accurate tracking at all times.
