✅ Tracking Proposal Views and Activity Logs in Britixo?

📘 Introduction:

Britixo helps you stay on top of your sales pipeline by tracking client activity on every proposal. From view logs to action history, you can monitor when a client opens, accepts, declines, or comments on a proposal—all without guessing.

🧭 Step-by-Step: View Proposal Activity

📄 1. Open the Proposal

  • Go to Sales > Proposals

  • Locate the desired proposal and click to open it

📊 2. Review Status Bar

At the top of the proposal, you'll see a Status Label:

  • Draft: Not yet sent

  • Sent: Delivered to the client

  • Viewed: Opened by the client

  • Accepted: Approved by the client

  • Declined: Rejected by the client

  • Expired: Past the validity date without action

The status updates automatically as the client interacts with the proposal.

📜 3. View Activity Timeline

Scroll down to the bottom of the proposal view to access the Activity Log:

You’ll find a timestamped list of actions such as:

  • Proposal created

  • Proposal sent

  • Client viewed the proposal

  • Client accepted or declined

  • Any comments added

🔔 These logs help you follow up based on real client behaviour.

👁️ 4. Enable or Disable View Notifications

Britixo can notify you when a client opens a proposal.

To enable this:

  • When creating or editing a proposal, scroll to the bottom

  • Tick the checkbox “Notify me when customer opens the proposal”

You’ll receive an email alert each time the proposal is viewed.

🔐 Notes on Tracking

  • View tracking works only when the proposal is opened through the unique link sent to the client.

  • If multiple contacts are associated with the customer, all views are logged, but names may not appear unless identified.

  • Internal views by staff are not counted as client views.

✅ Tips:

  • Use activity logs to follow up after the client views but doesn’t respond

  • Filter proposals by Status: Viewed to find warm leads

  • Use notifications sparingly to avoid inbox clutter.
