Request account deletion by email

This opens an email draft. Review it and press Send in your email app to submit the request.

corporate.uk.eu@britixo.com

No email app available? Use your usual webmail and send to the address above with the subject Britixo VoIP account deletion request. You do not need to sign in to Britixo or reinstall the app.

  1. Identify your account.
Include your registered email address and, if known, your company or workspace. Your extension is optional.
  2. Tell us what you want deleted.
Ask to delete your Britixo VoIP account and associated personal data. You can also request deletion of particular data without closing the account, where this is possible.
  3. Complete any necessary ownership check.
We may contact you to verify that the account is yours. If you no longer have access to its email address, contact us from an address you can use and explain that.

Do not send your password, one-time verification code, payment-card details or identity documents with the initial request. We will explain a secure, proportionate verification route if one is needed.

What happens next

Britixo Software Solutions UK Limited handles requests at the support address above. We respond without undue delay and normally within one month. If a lawful extension or further identity information is necessary, we tell you why and explain the timing.

After verification, we delete the account and the associated personal data we control, subject to the specific retention exceptions below. We confirm the outcome and any information retained. Deletion is not completed just by opening the email draft or uninstalling the app.

A request is reviewed by our team; this page does not automatically erase an account or an entire company's workspace.

Information covered by deletion

  • Your account profile and identifiers associated with the deleted account.
  • Its sign-in sessions, verification and calling credentials, so the deleted account can no longer be used to sign in or register an extension.
  • Personal call-history records and other personal information associated with the account that Britixo controls, unless a specific retention exception applies.
  • Associated information held by service providers on our behalf, for which we coordinate the relevant deletion request.

The app's contacts come from your company's directory. Deleting your account does not authorise deletion of other people's accounts or unrelated company and client records. If your organisation controls records containing your personal information, we explain its role and help route your request to the relevant administrator.

Information that may be retained

Limited information may be retained where necessary for legal or accounting duties, fraud prevention, security investigations or the establishment or defence of legal claims. It remains restricted to those purposes.

The retention period depends on the particular obligation: statutory records remain for the legally required period; information needed for an investigation or dispute remains until that matter and any applicable claims period have ended. Our response identifies any retained information, the reason and the applicable period or deletion criterion. Deletion is not replaced with indefinite account suspension.

Other call participants and your organisation may have their own lawfully retained records. We cannot erase records controlled independently by them through deletion of your Britixo account.

Account access and device data

Deleting the account ends its access to Britixo VoIP. If it is linked to wider Britixo services or a company workspace that you manage, tell us whether you also want to close those services. We clarify any linked access, ownership or billing consequences before carrying out irreversible changes.

Signing out, disabling permissions or uninstalling the app does not itself delete a server account or cancel a separate business service contract. You can still request deletion after uninstalling. Clear the app's storage or uninstall it on your devices to remove local app data; signing out removes the saved account session and its recent-call list.

If you only want to remove particular personal data while retaining the account, say so in your email. We explain any information necessary to keep the service working.
