Open the lead and choose Follow-up and qualification. This brings the next action and the qualification checks into one view.

Enter what needs to happen, when it is due and who is responsible. Choose whether the responsible person needs an in-app notification, then save the next action.

Record the checks you have actually confirmed, with evidence notes. Save qualification checks and review the resulting score. The score reflects those checks; lead status remains under your control.

Open the Follow-up queue to review next actions across leads. Filter the queue and open the relevant record before deciding the next step.

Before you start

Use a lead you are authorised to manage. The available controls depend on your workspace configuration and permissions. Review the lead and its current status before saving changes.

Follow these steps

  1. Open the intended lead and select Follow-up and qualification.
  2. Enter the next action, its due date and the responsible person. Choose whether an in-app notification is needed, then save the next action.
  3. Record only the qualification checks you have actually confirmed. Add clear evidence notes, save the checks and review the resulting score. The score reflects the recorded checks; lead status remains under your control.
  4. Open the Follow-up queue to review next actions across leads. Apply the relevant filters and open the source record before deciding or recording the next step.

Check it worked

  • The next action has the intended owner and due date.
  • The saved checks and evidence notes support the score shown.
  • The lead appears in the appropriate follow-up queue.
  • The lead status reflects an intentional decision, rather than an assumption based on its score.
