✅ Filter Projects by Status or Assignee in Britixo?

Introduction

Managing multiple projects can become complex if you’re unable to quickly find what you need. Britixo practice management software provides built-in filters so you can instantly sort projects either by status (Active, Completed, On Hold, Cancelled) or by assignee (staff responsible for the project). This helps you focus on exactly what matters and ensures nothing gets overlooked.

✅ Step 1: Go to the Projects Section

  • 🧭 From the left-hand menu, click Projects.

  • 📋 The full list of projects will load, showing their name, customer, status, and deadline.

  • 🎯 Above the project list, you’ll see filter options.

✅ Step 2: Filter Projects by Status

  • 🏗 In the Status filter, select the type of project you want to view.

    • Active – Projects currently in progress.

    • Completed – Projects marked as finished.

    • On Hold – Projects temporarily paused.

    • Cancelled – Projects no longer running.

  • ✨ Selecting a status will instantly update the list to only show matching projects.

  • 💡 You can combine statuses, for example, viewing both Active and On Hold at once.

✅ Step 3: Filter Projects by Assignee

  • 🧑‍💼 Next to the status filter, you’ll find the Assigned To filter.

  • Select a staff member’s name from the dropdown list.

  • The list will refresh, showing only the projects that have that person assigned.

  • 📊 This is useful for managers checking workload distribution or team members reviewing only their own projects.

✅ Step 4: Combine Status and Assignee Filters

  • 🔍 You can apply both filters together.

  • Example: Status = Active + Assignee = John Smith will only show active projects where John Smith is assigned.

  • 🔁 Reset filters anytime by clicking Clear Filters at the top.

✅ Step 5: Use Search with Filters

  • 📂 If needed, type part of the project name or reference number in the search box while keeping filters applied.

  • 🔎 This makes locating specific projects much faster when you’re dealing with dozens of records.

Pro Tips

  • ✅ Regularly filter by Completed to ensure projects are properly closed.

  • ✅ Use Assignee filter to balance workloads between team members.

  • ✅ Combine filters with tags (if added) for even more control.
