How to Track the Activity of a User in Britixo Project Management Software?

Introduction

Britixo practice management software provides a transparent way to track all user activities within the system. Whether you want to see who updated a project, assigned a task, added a comment, or changed a deadline, every action is logged and can be reviewed in detail. This ensures accountability, helps managers monitor progress, and provides a clear audit trail for compliance.

Step 1: Open the Activity Log for a Project

Navigate to Projects from the left-hand menu.

Select the project name you want to review.

In the project’s detailed view, click on the Activity tab .

Here you will see a chronological list of all updates related to the project, including:

Task creation or updates

Status changes

File uploads

Comments or notes added

Team assignments

Each entry shows who performed the action, what was changed, and when it happened .

Step 2: Track Task-Level Activity

Open a project and navigate to its Tasks tab .

Click on any task name to open the task details.

Scroll down to the Task Activity Log , which records:

Changes in task status (e.g., To-Do → In Progress → Completed)

Subtask additions or modifications

File attachments to tasks

Comments made by team members

Reassignments of the task

Step 3: Use the Global Activity Log (Admin & Manager View)

Go to the Reports or Utilities section from the sidebar.

Click on Activity Log .

This will display all user activities across the entire Britixo system , not just one project.

Use the built-in filters to narrow results:

Filter by user (to track a specific staff member)

Filter by date range

Filter by module (Projects, Tasks, Invoices, etc.)

This is especially useful for managers who need to oversee multiple projects or check accountability of actions.

Step 4: Email Notifications and Real-Time Tracking

If notifications are enabled, Britixo can send instant emails whenever a user updates a project or task.

Team members also receive in-app notifications for key activities.

These settings can be adjusted under Settings → Notifications to match your workflow.

Pro Tips

Use the search bar inside the Activity Log to quickly locate specific updates.

Managers can combine the activity log with staff permissions to control what users can or cannot do.

Regularly review logs to ensure projects are progressing as planned and no critical updates are missed.
