How to Comment and Collaborate on Tasks in Britixo?
Introduction:
Britixo CRM allows staff to leave comments directly on tasks, making it easier to collaborate, ask questions, and share updates in real time. Comments support file uploads and staff mentions, ensuring everyone stays aligned without needing external chat tools.
Step-by-Step: Add Comments and Collaborate:
1. Open the Task
Navigate to the Tasks section from the left menu.
Click on the task where you want to add a comment.
2. Scroll to the Comments Section
Inside the task, scroll to the Comments tab.
You’ll see a comment box and a list of previous messages (if any).
3. Write Your Comment
Type your message in the comment field.
You can:
Mention a staff member using @name format
Provide updates, ask for feedback, or clarify task details
4. Attach Files (Optional)
Use the attachment icon next to the comment box to upload a file.
This is useful for sharing documents, screenshots, or resources related to the task.
5. Post the Comment
Click Submit to post the comment.
All assigned staff will be notified instantly via in-app notifications (or email if enabled).
6. Review and Reply
All comments are displayed in a chronological thread.
Staff can reply to earlier comments by simply posting another message in the same area.
Tips for Collaboration:
Use comments for ongoing task updates rather than external chat tools.
Upload relevant files so they stay attached to the task record.
Mention the right people so they receive notifications and respond faster.
All comments are timestamped and permanently recorded in the task history.
