How to Use the Global Search Bar Efficiently in Britixo Practice Management Software?
The Global Search Bar in Britixo lets you instantly find clients, invoices, projects, tasks, tickets, and more — all from a single place. It’s a powerful tool to save time and eliminate unnecessary navigation.
A. Locate the Global Search Bar.
Log in to Britixo Head to https://britixo.com/app/login and sign in.
Find the Search Field At the top right of your dashboard, you’ll see the Global Search bar — often marked by a magnifying glass icon.
B. How to Use It?
Click the Search Bar As soon as you click it, a dropdown will appear with search categories like:
Clients
Invoices
Projects
Tasks
Proposals
Tickets
Staff
Estimates
Expenses
Type a Keyword or Reference Start typing any:
Name (e.g., "John Smith")
ID or Number (e.g., "INV-00123")
Project Title or Task Name
Ticket Subject or Email Address
Select a Result Results update as you type. Click on any record to instantly open its profile.
C. Advanced Search Filters.
In some modules (like Invoices or Projects), you can use filters within the module view for more complex queries — but for quick access, the global search is your best shortcut.
Use Cases:
Find overdue invoices instantly
Jump straight to a client’s profile
Locate a project without clicking through multiple menus
Find support tickets by subject or client name
Pro Tips:
Use unique tags or reference numbers in records to make them easier to search
Clients can also use the global search in the client portal (limited to their data)
Use partial keywords — Britixo auto-suggests similar results
