How to Change the Status of a Project in Britixo?
Introduction
In Britixo practice management software, every project is linked to a status that reflects its stage in the workflow. Updating a project’s status is essential for keeping your team aligned and clients informed. Whether a project is in planning, in progress, on hold, or completed, Britixo allows you to quickly update the status with just a few clicks.
Step 1: Access the Projects Section
From the left-hand navigation panel, click on Projects.
You will see a list of all existing projects, including their current status, deadlines, and assigned members.
Step 2: Open the Project Details
Locate the project you want to update in the project list.
Click on the project name to open its detailed view.
The project overview will display all details including progress, tasks, files, discussions, and current status.
Step 3: Change the Project Status
In the Project Details panel, find the Status dropdown menu.
Click on the dropdown to view available statuses, such as:
In Progress
On Hold
Cancelled
Completed
Select the new status that matches the project’s progress.
Click Save or wait for Britixo to auto-update the change.
Step 4: Notify Team and Clients (Automatic Emails)
When the project status is updated, Britixo can automatically send email notifications to assigned staff and the client linked to the project.
This ensures everyone stays informed about important project updates.
Check your email templates under settings to customise these messages if required.
Step 5: Review the Updated Status
Return to the Projects list.
The updated status will now be visible in the Status column.
This helps you and your team filter projects by their current stage for better project tracking.
