Run a customer or subsidiary-branch sales overview

Review account sales totals and opportunities for one customer or an accessible company branch.

Audience: authorised staffPermission: Sales CRM viewing and current native access to the selected customer; opportunity visibility remains limited by your Sales CRM roleReviewed 30 October 2026
Where to goSales CRM → Relationships → Account hierarchy → Customer → Sales overview

Before you start

Use your own authorised staff account in the intended Britixo workspace. The Sales CRM module must be available and your role must include the permissions stated above. Existing leads, customers, communications and customer portal pages retain their normal access rules.

Follow these steps

  1. Open the intended customer in Account hierarchy and choose Sales overview.
  2. Review the initial overview for This customer only and the current calendar year.
  3. Choose Customer scope: This customer only or Accessible subsidiary branch.
  4. Set From and To dates and optionally choose a currency.
  5. Choose Run sales overview. Changing a filter clears the earlier results until you run it again.
  6. Review the currency cards, Included customers and matching opportunities.
  7. Open an opportunity to inspect its current details, or export the summary and matching records.

Behavior and limits

  • The overview is read-only and does not change customer relationships, opportunities, forecasts, balances or history.
  • This customer only includes opportunities directly linked to the selected native customer. Accessible subsidiary branch also follows current parent links below that customer.
  • Every traversed customer must be accessible under your native customer permissions. An inaccessible intermediate customer stops that branch, even if a deeper customer would otherwise be accessible.
  • Sales CRM ownership visibility still applies to each opportunity. View-own staff see their own matching deals; Sales CRM View all does not override native customer access.
  • Included customers lists the accessible customer scope, including customers with no matching opportunities. It is not a count of all companies in the organisation.
  • Archived opportunities and records with no applicable close date are excluded. Unlinked deals are not assigned to a customer by inference.
  • Choose a period of one to 367 days. A report supports up to 250 accessible customers and 1,000 matching opportunities. Exceeding a limit stops the report without displaying partial totals.
  • Currency totals remain separate. No exchange-rate conversion, accounting consolidation, invoice balance or split-credit forecast is calculated.
  • The report uses current parent links. It does not reconstruct the company structure as it existed when an opportunity closed.

Check it worked

  • Check the customer, dates, currency and customer count above the totals.
  • Expand Included customers and confirm the branch is the one you intended.
  • Compare the matching opportunity list with the reported counts.
  • Run the overview again after a customer relationship, deal or permission changes.

Troubleshooting

  • For a customer-limit error, select a smaller branch or choose This customer only.
  • For an opportunity-limit error, narrow the period or currency.
  • For no results, check dates, archived state, customer links and current opportunity ownership.
  • If a branch seems incomplete, verify access to every intermediate parent; the report does not disclose restricted branch identities.
  • If access was revoked, reopen an authorised customer rather than relying on an older loaded report.
