Export saved reports and resolve reporting problems
Download a labelled summary and diagnose empty results, access changes, limits and stale definitions.
Where to goSales CRM → Reports → Saved reports → Open report → Export report CSV
Before you start
Use your own authorised staff account in the intended Britixo workspace. The Sales CRM module must be available and your role must include the permissions stated above. Existing leads, customers, communications and customer portal pages retain their normal access rules.
Follow these steps
- Open or refresh the report and review its measure, date basis, exact period and refresh time.
- Select Export report CSV to download the displayed summary.
- Open the UTF-8 comma-separated file and inspect its report metadata, group labels, currency, value, matching count and contributing count.
- For an unexpected result, inspect a representative group’s underlying records and compare its filters, dates and access.
- If a definition cannot run, read the error before changing settings and ask its owner to update unavailable fields or invalid configuration.
Behavior and limits
- The CSV exports the loaded report summary with its refresh timestamp. It is not an import template, scheduled delivery or a dump of all underlying records.
- Each monetary row includes its currency. Do not sum different currencies as though they were one unit.
- Text that could be interpreted as a spreadsheet formula is escaped as literal text. A text editor may show the protective apostrophe.
- Empty results can be valid when no accessible records match all filters and the chosen date period.
- Reports reject more than 200 groups instead of presenting a silently incomplete total. Narrow the filters or choose a broader grouping.
- Database or session failures do not cause a report to modify source CRM records.
Check it worked
- Compare the CSV report name, date range, refresh time, values and currencies with the loaded report.
- For closed-cycle averages, distinguish matching records from the contributing subset.
Troubleshooting
- If the file appears in one spreadsheet column, import it as UTF-8 CSV with comma delimiter and double-quote text qualifier.
- If a session/request-token error appears, restore your normal sign-in and refresh the page before trying again.
- If a result changed after refresh, check for edited opportunity values, reassignment, activity completion, changed definitions or changed permissions.
- For support, provide the report or dashboard ID, intended operation and exact error text, without passwords, session cookies or unnecessary private customer information.
