Create Tax Mapping Setup | Accounting & Bookkeeping Software UK.
Tax Mapping Setup in Britixo allows you to assign specific accounts for handling taxes on both sales invoices and expenses . This ensures that tax amounts are posted correctly in your accounting records, reducing errors and keeping your reports accurate.
⚙️ Access Tax Mapping Setup
From the left sidebar , go to Accounting → Settings → Mapping Setup .
Select the General tab.
➕ Click the Add button.
📝 Configure Tax Mapping
In the Tax Mapping Setup popup, fill in the following details:
🏷️ Select the Tax – choose the tax rate you want to map.
💰 Sales (Invoices) – select the Payment Account and Deposit To Account for special tax mapping on invoices.
📉 Expenses – select the Payment Account and Deposit To Account for special tax mapping on expenses.
💾 Save the Mapping
Once all fields are completed, click Save .
Your selected tax will now automatically post to the mapped accounts when used in invoices or expenses.
✅ Tip: Always review your tax mappings at the start of a new financial year or when adding new tax rates. Proper mapping ensures smooth reconciliation and accurate tax reporting.
