Employee Payslip Mapping | HR Module of Accounting and Bookkeeping Software | UK Compliant.
Payslip Mapping in Britixo ensures payroll entries are posted correctly in your accounts. Each payslip is mapped to the last day of its respective month (for example, an October payslip appears on 31st October). Once a payslip has Closing status, it becomes available for mapping in the Accounting module.
Values Mapped in Payslips
Total Insurance
Income Tax (PAYE)
Net Pay
These values are only visible in the mapping popup after the payslip is closed.
Manual Mapping
Go to Accounting → Transactions → Payslips .
Select a payslip with status Payslip Closing .
Click Map .
Choose the account(s) and click Save .
Mass Mapping
Enable Automatic Mapping of Payslips in Accounting → Settings → Mapping Setup → Payroll Tab .
Select the Payment Account and Deposit To Account .
Click Save .
Select payslips with status Has not been mapped .
Click Bulk Actions → Mass Mapping → Confirm .
The selected payslips will be mapped automatically.
Edit Mapping
Click Edit on a payslip.
Change the mapped account(s).
Click Save to update the account amounts.
Delete Mapping
Click Delete on a mapped payslip.
Confirm deletion in the pop-up.
The mapping will be removed, and account balances updated.
Mass Delete Mapping
Select payslips with status Has been mapped .
Click Bulk Actions → Mass Delete Mapping → Confirm .
The mappings will be removed and accounts updated.
Tip: Always close payslips before mapping to ensure payroll amounts such as insurance, PAYE tax, and net pay are captured accurately.
