How to Use the “Activity Log” and Track System Events in Britixo Practice Management CRM?
Reminders in Britixo help you stay on top of key tasks, client follow-ups, invoice deadlines, contract renewals, and internal actions. You can create manual reminders for yourself or assign them to team members, ensuring nothing important is overlooked.
Where to Find the Activity Log:
Log in to Britixo : https://britixo.com/app/login
From the main menu, go to Utilities → Activity Log
Alternatively, most modules (Clients, Projects, Tickets, etc.) also have record-specific activity feeds that show actions related only to that item.
Understanding the Global Activity Log:
The global Activity Log displays all actions performed by any user , in real-time order. Each entry includes:
Date and Time : When the action occurred
User : Who performed the action (staff name)
Module : Area of the CRM affected (e.g., Invoice, Task, Client)
Description : Clear explanation of what was done (e.g., “Invoice #INV-0004 status changed to Paid”)
This is especially useful for:
Admins who want to audit system usage
Project managers tracking progress
Finance teams reviewing invoice status changes
Support managers monitoring ticket updates
Filtering and Searching Logs.
To locate specific actions:
Go to Utilities → Activity Log
Use the search bar at the top to:
Enter a keyword (e.g., “task”, “invoice”, “deleted”, etc.)
Search by staff member name
Filter by date range or specific module using available filter tools (if enabled)
This helps narrow down activity for internal audits or troubleshooting.
Activity Logs on Specific Records.
Britixo displays individual activity logs within key modules for granular control. These include:
Clients
Go to Clients → Click on a Client → Scroll to the bottom → View Customer Activity
Projects
Inside a Project → Go to the Activity tab
Tickets
Open any support ticket → Scroll to Activity Feed
Invoices, Tasks, Contracts
Each record typically contains an activity section displaying all changes and updates
These logs reflect changes made only within the specific entity, providing targeted visibility.
Can Users Edit the Activity Log?
No. The Activity Log in Britixo is read-only and cannot be modified or deleted , even by admin users. This ensures an accurate and tamper-proof record of user actions.
Activity Log and GDPR Compliance.
The log is a powerful tool for:
Verifying who accessed or modified personal data
Ensuring data processing records are in line with GDPR Article 30
Auditing user behavior for internal security protocols
Combined with role-based permissions, the Activity Log strengthens your overall data governance.
