Before you start

Use your own authorised staff account in the intended Britixo workspace. The Sales CRM module must be available and your role must include the permissions stated above. Existing leads, customers, communications and customer portal pages retain their normal access rules.

Follow these steps

  1. Apply the required filters in Deals, choose Select deals, and select one to sixty opportunities on the current page.
  2. Choose Run macro and select an active definition.
  3. Set the base date and time in the application timezone shown in the form.
  4. Choose Preview selected opportunities.
  5. Read the Ready, Unchanged and Needs attention counts, then inspect every opportunity’s current and proposed field values and resolved reminder dates.
  6. Resolve all invalid rows or adjust the selection and preview again.
  7. When the review is correct, select the acknowledgement checkbox and Apply reviewed macro.
  8. Read the results for every selected opportunity.

Behavior and limits

  • Preview is read-only. It validates current record revisions, permissions, configured fields and normal opportunity requirements.
  • Every row must be valid when the run starts. A later concurrent change can still fail an individual row; successful opportunities are retained and failures are explicit.
  • All macro actions for one opportunity and its execution receipt are saved in one transaction. A failed transaction retains none of that opportunity’s macro changes.
  • The three optional field changes are combined into one normal edit. That edit may reset a pending stage request and run existing field-update automation. No-op fields produce no edit or automation. Existing automations may add their own reminders or change fields after the direct macro update; inspect the final opportunity and its history.
  • Reminders are then created through the normal opportunity activity workflow. A reminder-only routine does not move stages or approve anything.
  • An archived opportunity must be restored before running a macro. Required fields and current native customer/lead access remain enforced for field updates.
  • A changed definition, base time, selection or record state requires a new preview. The server rechecks the reviewed plan at apply time.
  • Retrying the same unchanged submitted run does not repeat completed work. Starting a new run is intentional new work and can create additional reminders.

Check it worked

  • Check the result state for each opportunity, including any failed or unchanged rows.
  • Open an affected opportunity to verify its fields and new reminders.
  • Confirm reminder dates and owners match the reviewed plan.

Troubleshooting

  • If a row changed since selection, close the review, refresh Deals, reselect and preview again.
  • If required or linked-record information is invalid, resolve it through the normal opportunity edit workflow before running the macro.
  • If the connection is interrupted, check Recent macro runs before starting another run.
  • If a field was already set, Unchanged is expected when the macro creates no reminders for that record.
