Open WhatsApp Settings
Review all operating limits, general Inbox toggles and verified-customer automation options.
Set maximum attachment size
Enter a whole number from 1 to 32 MB and save.
Set Inbox refresh interval
Enter 4–60 seconds for bounded fallback refresh.
Set the history chat limit
Enter 1–500 recent chats.
Set messages per chat
Enter 1–200 messages for history import.
Set verification attempts before staff review
Enter 1–10.
Enable synchronisation on Inbox load
Select the toggle to pull connector events when an Inbox opens.
Enable cron synchronisation
Select the toggle to import queued messages after the CRM cron runs.
Enable automatic contact matching
Select the telephone-number matching toggle for general Inbox context.
Enable reopening on new inbound messages
Select the toggle so a genuinely new inbound event can reopen a closed conversation.
Disable reopening on inbound messages
Clear the toggle to keep closed conversations closed until staff changes them.
Enable profile-photo URL storage
Store only the current remote URL supplied by WhatsApp.
Disable profile-photo URL storage
Stop retaining newly supplied profile-photo URLs.
Enable customer verification
Start strict unique-mobile/exact-email verification for new one-to-one contacts.
Save all WhatsApp settings
Review values, select Save settings and confirm the success notice.
Understand immediate setting application
The Inbox uses saved values immediately and managed connector preparation applies relevant limits without unlinking.
Understand invalid setting normalisation
Out-of-range or malformed numeric values are constrained to safe supported ranges.
Verify settings after an upgrade
Open Settings after activation and confirm new r20.5 options have defaults without overwriting deliberate existing values.
