Your choice
You can read the website, use the contact service, open support requests and follow our WhatsApp link without enabling optional visitor tools. Use Privacy choices on this site to allow or reject the integrated visitor analytics and website-chat tool. Both choices are presented equally.
Essential storage and service requests
Authentication, security and verification services may use cookies or browser storage needed to provide the account or service you request. Your sign-in session, anti-forgery protection and requested verification steps are separate from optional visitor analytics. Blocking all browser storage can prevent account features from working.
We remember the choice you make in britixo_privacy_choice_v1 in your browser’s local storage. It contains the preference, version and time, rather than your name or email. The choice is valid for 180 days, after which the site asks again. If storage is blocked, we cannot retain the preference between page visits.
Temporary enquiry drafts
When a service-page enquiry form opens the secure contact page, its entered details are carried in this tab’s session storage as britixo_enquiry_draft_v1, rather than in the page URL. The contact page removes the stored draft when it reads it and accepts it only within 30 minutes. An unconsumed draft remains in this tab’s session storage until it is replaced, cleared or the tab session ends. Email verification is still required before the enquiry can be submitted.
Optional visitor analytics and website chat
The optional visitor tool records activity such as page views and clicks, browser or device details and visitor or session identifiers. Its integrated chat feature can also process conversation activity when used. The tool communicates with the connected service platform through britixo.co.uk or proplix.co.uk, depending on the page.
The tool’s script is not requested until you allow it. Optional loading is also prevented on account, contact and search pages, and on pages containing query parameters. Supported Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals keep it disabled even if an earlier site preference allowed it.
Visitor identifiers
The optional module uses local or session storage identifiers such as vi_visitor_key, vi_session_key, vi_visitor_id_v143 and vi_session_id_v143. Session storage normally lasts for the current browser tab; local storage can remain until it is cleared. The optional module may use additional operational values for its chat and session features.
When you reject optional tools, the privacy control removes the listed visitor identifiers from local and session storage. You can also inspect or clear all site data in your browser. Deleting browser data may sign you out or remove other preferences.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
Open Privacy choices at any time to change the setting. If an optional tool is already running, rejecting it reloads the page so its timers and listeners are no longer active. Save any work before changing a preference that requires a reload.
A choice applies to the browser and website origin where it was made. A different device or browser may ask separately. Withdrawing consent stops future optional loading; it does not automatically delete information already received by the service. For a request about that information, use the privacy enquiry route.
Links, providers and server logs
Opening an external service such as WhatsApp takes you to a service with its own privacy terms. Server and security logs may be created when a page or service is requested, whether or not optional browser tools are enabled. Such logs are different from optional visitor identifiers stored in your browser.

Tell us about a concern
If you see unexpected storage or tracking, tell us the page, approximate time, browser and what you observed through the privacy contact route. Do not send passwords, authentication tokens or unrelated personal information.
