Calculating gross profit by product in Britixo allows you to see how much each individual item contributes to your overall profitability. This report helps you analyse sales and costs at the product level, which is vital for understanding margins, making pricing decisions, and identifying your most profitable products.
Generate Gross Profit by Product Report
Go to Accounting → Reports .
Select Profit and Loss Detail .
Use the Product Filter at the top of the report.
Choose the product you want to analyse (e.g., Synology DS920+ ).
The report will display:
Income linked to that product.
Costs associated with the product.
Gross Profit (calculated as Income – Costs).
Why This Report Matters
Helps you see which products generate the most profit.
Identifies underperforming products with low or negative margins.
Supports better pricing and sales strategy decisions.
Allows you to focus on high-value items in your inventory.
