Review inventory and cost accounting results
Use ledger and financial reports to validate inventory, cost of sales and production or warehouse conversion results.
What this feature does
Use ledger and financial reports to validate inventory, cost of sales and production or warehouse conversion results. It forms part of Britixo Enterprise CRM's Accounting & Bookkeeping module and uses the module's permission-aware controller, status and mapping flow rather than a generic spreadsheet process.
How the module flow works
The module does not present a single visible inventory report endpoint; inventory analysis is performed through Warehouse transaction views, Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, General Ledger and transaction reports.
When the Warehouse or Manufacturing module is inactive, those source tabs are absent.
Reconciliation requires the source inventory valuation method and Accounting mappings to be consistent.
Step-by-step workflow
- Run Balance Sheet for inventory accounts.
- Run General Ledger or Transaction Detail by Account.
- Compare balances with Warehouse valuation.
- Review cost of sales in Profit & Loss.
- Investigate loss adjustments and manufacturing variance.
- Check opening stock and item mappings.
- Post approved corrections through the correct source or journal workflow.
Important fields and decisions
What happens after completion
After the action is saved, Britixo keeps the Accounting record connected to its source and updates the visible status or ledger data supported by this workflow. Review the saved result rather than relying only on a success message. Where the action posts accounting data, total debits and credits must balance and the accounts must match the approved mapping or manual selection.
- Open the saved record and confirm its final status.
- Review the source reference and every debit and credit line where ledger data was created.
- Use the relevant register, ageing, reconciliation or report to verify the wider effect.
Controls, checks and common mistakes
- Use the same valuation date.
- Do not post opening inventory twice.
- Review negative or inactive-item balances.
- Separate quantity errors from accounting-value errors.
- Use the least destructive correction available and record the reason for material changes.
- Do not bypass a permission, approval or closed-period control by changing unrelated data.
