Configure Manufacturing and Omni Sales mappings
Set the ledger accounts used for manufacturing material and labour costs and for Omni Sales returns and refunds.
What this feature does
Set the ledger accounts used for manufacturing material and labour costs and for Omni Sales returns and refunds. It forms part of Britixo Enterprise CRM's Accounting & Bookkeeping module and uses the module's permission-aware controller, status and mapping flow rather than a generic spreadsheet process.
How the module flow works
The Accounting controller contains separate manufacturing order, Omni Sales return-order and Omni Sales refund tables and automatic-conversion update actions.
Manufacturing conversion uses data supplied by the manufacturing module, including material and labour costs. Omni Sales conversion distinguishes the return order from the payment refund.
These tabs are conditional; absence is normal when the source module is inactive.
Step-by-step workflow
- Confirm each related module is active.
- Open Manufacturing mappings and configure material and labour accounts.
- Open Omni Sales mappings and configure return and refund accounts.
- Save settings.
- Test a manufacturing order status that triggers conversion.
- Test an Omni Sales return and refund.
- Review source values, debit-credit balance and inventory effects.
Important fields and decisions
What happens after completion
After the action is saved, Britixo keeps the Accounting record connected to its source and updates the visible status or ledger data supported by this workflow. Review the saved result rather than relying only on a success message. Where the action posts accounting data, total debits and credits must balance and the accounts must match the approved mapping or manual selection.
- Open the saved record and confirm its final status.
- Review the source reference and every debit and credit line where ledger data was created.
- Use the relevant register, ageing, reconciliation or report to verify the wider effect.
Controls, checks and common mistakes
- Do not enable a tab for an integration the organisation does not use.
- Separate production variances from ordinary expenses.
- Treat return and refund as separate events.
- Review bank or gateway settlement accounts.
- Use the least destructive correction available and record the reason for material changes.
- Do not bypass a permission, approval or closed-period control by changing unrelated data.
