Before you start

Buy-request View or View Own is required; changes require the corresponding write permission and an accessible customer/property.

Follow these steps

  1. Open Buy Requests and select the customer’s request, or start a new request.
  2. Create a core CRM contract from an eligible request.
  3. Verify customer, property, status, price and term; open the created contract afterwards.
  4. Save or complete the action once, then inspect the request and any linked contract or invoice.

Fields, rules and limits

  • Verify customer, property, status, price and term; open the created contract afterwards.
  • Conversion first checks Edit access to the source request and its customer/property scope. Opening the resulting record also requires the relevant Contracts or Invoices View/View Own permission. Check the existing link before retrying conversion.

Check it worked

The request and downstream links identify the correct customer, property and values.

If something does not look right

If the expected result is missing, check the saved record, the current workspace and the action’s permissions. Record the exact validation message; do not repeat a state-changing action until you know whether the first attempt saved.
