Before you start
Use the onboarding workspace to progress the selected case through its supported actions and verification gates.
Follow these steps
- Open the intended onboarding by reference and inspect context, parties and current stage.
- Complete the displayed information and resolve hard blockers.
- Use the relevant Save or workflow action to persist a change.
- Review the agreement and finance/evidence gates before moving to approval or sending notifications.
- Reopen the case and inspect its saved stage and communication history.
Check it worked
Only the submitted supported action changes the workflow. The saved stage, linked parties and evidence agree.
If something does not look right
Viewing the workflow page is read-only; do not expect opening it to repair or save missing context. Invalid or concurrent actions can be refused—refresh the case and check the stored result before retrying.
Questions and answers
Why did simply opening the page not repair the case?
Current workflow context repair and persistence belong to the POST/save actions, not page rendering.
Can two staff progress the same case simultaneously?
Mutating workflow actions use per-onboarding control. After a conflict, review the current saved stage before another action.
Where can I verify messages?
Review the workflow delivery outcome and its linked records. The current onboarding workflow provides invitation and signature actions, not a general message composer; a confirmation alone does not prove inbox delivery.
