Before you start

Use your own authorised staff account in the intended Britixo workspace. The Sales CRM module must be available and your role must include the permissions stated above. Existing leads, customers, communications and customer portal pages retain their normal access rules.

Follow these steps

  1. Choose Retire allocation when its credit should no longer appear in contribution reports.
  2. Enter a clear reason and confirm retirement.
  3. Use Edit allocation to repair participants, percentages, roles or notes while it is retired.
  4. Calculate, review and save the repair. The allocation remains retired.
  5. Choose Review & restore, review current participants and calculated amounts, confirm the review and provide a reason. Choose Restore reviewed allocation to finish.
  6. Refresh Reports → Contributions to confirm the intended inclusion or exclusion.

Behavior and limits

  • Retirement preserves the current configuration and action history. It does not delete the opportunity or its activities, quotations or native customer records.
  • Retiring an allocation excludes it from contribution reports. It does not change the opportunity’s value, stage, owner or forecasts.
  • Retirement is permitted when an existing participant has become unavailable, so invalid historical membership does not trap an allocation in reports.
  • Saving a repair or restoring an allocation requires every selected participant to be a current eligible staff member.
  • Editing a retired allocation does not reactivate it. Restoration is a separate explicit action with a fresh calculation review.
  • Both retirement and restoration require a reason of up to 1,000 characters and check current record versions.
  • An archived opportunity must be restored through its normal opportunity workflow before its allocation can be changed.
  • The panel shows the latest 100 contribution actions. It records action metadata and reasons rather than retaining complete before-edit configuration copies.

Check it worked

  • Check the Retired label after retirement and confirm it is excluded from a refreshed report.
  • After a repair, verify the allocation is still retired until you explicitly restore it.
  • After restoration, check the Active label, current credit and recorded reason.

Troubleshooting

  • If restoration is refused, check current contributor eligibility and calculate again after repairing the definition.
  • If somebody changed the opportunity or allocation, reopen the current version before continuing.
  • If a report still shows an older result, choose Update contributions to load the current active states.
