✅ Income Statement Modification | Accounting and Bookkeeping Software | UK Compliant.

Income Statement Modification in Britixo allows you to define custom rows and formulas for your reports. By enabling this option, you can decide exactly how income is displayed and calculated. This gives you more control over management reporting, compliance, and financial analysis.


➕ Create an Income Statement Row

  1. ⚙️ From the left sidebar, go to Accounting.

  2. ⚙️ Select Settings.

  3. 📊 Click Income Statement Modification.

  4. ➕ Press the Add button.

  5. ✍️ Fill in the details:

    • Name – enter the row name for your income statement.

    • Type – choose Income or Net Income.

    • Formula – build your calculation using operators (+, -, *, /) and linked accounts.

      • Example: Income A = Billable Expense Income + Sales + Uncategorised Income.

  6. 💾 Click Save to confirm.

👉 At least one row must be created for modifications to apply.


🔄 Enable or Disable Modifications

  • Enable: Rows are displayed in reports and included in calculations.

  • Disable: Rows are hidden and ignored in reports.

Reports affected include:

  • Balance Sheet (Summary, Detail, Comparison)

  • Profit and Loss (Standard, Comparison, Year-to-Date, Trailing 12 Months, % of Total Income)

  • Statement of Cash Flows


✏️ Edit an Income Statement Row

  1. ⚙️ Go to Accounting → Settings → Income Statement Modification.

  2. 🔍 Hover over the row you want to change and click Edit.

  3. ✍️ Update the name, type, or formula.

  4. 💾 Click Save.


🗑️ Delete an Income Statement Row

  1. ⚙️ Navigate to Accounting → Settings → Income Statement Modification.

  2. 🔍 Hover over the row you want to remove and click Delete.

  3. 🛑 Confirm deletion to permanently remove the row.
