Maintenance & Depreciation Mapping | Accounting and Bookkeeping Software | UK Compliant.
In Britixo’s Fixed Equipment module, you can map both maintenance costs and asset depreciation values to accounts. This ensures that expenses and asset values are always properly reflected in your financial reports.
Manual Mapping
Maintenance Mapping
If mapping is disabled, costs are not mapped automatically.
Go to Fixed Equipment → Maintenances.
Create a maintenance record with start date and cost.
Open Accounting → Transactions → Fixed Equipment → Maintenances.
Click the mapping option → Select the account → Click Save.
Result: Data is mapped based on the start date of maintenance.
Depreciation Mapping
If mapping is disabled, depreciation values are not mapped automatically.
Create a new asset under Fixed Equipment.
Depreciation months depend on the model chosen.
Wait for the cron job to automatically generate depreciation values.
Open Accounting → Transactions → Fixed Equipment → Depreciations.
Click the mapping option → Select the account → Click Save.
Result: Data is mapped based on the created date of depreciation.
Automatic Mapping
Maintenance Mapping
Go to Settings → Accounting → Mapping setup → Fixed Equipment tab.
Enable Maintenance Mapping setup.
Select payment account and deposit to → Click Save.
Create a maintenance with start date and cost.
Result: Cost of maintenance is mapped automatically by start date.
Depreciation Mapping
Go to Settings → Accounting → Mapping setup → Fixed Equipment tab.
Enable Depreciation Mapping setup.
Select payment account and deposit to → Click Save.
Create an asset → Wait for cron job to generate depreciation values.
Result: Depreciation is mapped automatically by created date.
Mass Mapping
For Maintenances
Enable Maintenance Mapping setup and configure accounts.
Go to Accounting → Transactions → Fixed Equipment → Maintenances.
Select records with status Has not been mapped.
Click Bulk actions → Mass mapping → Confirm.
For Depreciations
Enable Depreciation Mapping setup and configure accounts.
Go to Accounting → Transactions → Fixed Equipment → Depreciations.
Select values with status Has not been mapped.
Click Bulk actions → Mass mapping → Confirm.
Result: Selected records are mapped automatically.
Edit Mapping
Go to Accounting → Transactions → Fixed Equipment → Maintenances/Depreciations.
Select the record → Click Edit.
Change the account → Click Save.
The mapped account updates accordingly.
Delete Mapping
Go to Accounting → Transactions → Fixed Equipment → Maintenances/Depreciations.
Select the record → Click Delete.
Confirm in the pop-up.
The mapping is deleted, and account values adjust.
Mass Delete Mapping
Go to Accounting → Transactions → Fixed Equipment → Maintenances/Depreciations.
Select records with status Has been mapped.
Click Bulk actions → Mass delete mapping → Confirm.
The selected mappings are deleted.
