Compliance Software Development

Build software around defined obligations, evidence, reviews and accountable decisions without treating automation as a guarantee of compliance.

01

Translate the process into clear requirements

Start with the process owner, the records being managed and the decisions that require review. Identify which requirements come from organisational policy, contracts or applicable obligations, and who is responsible for interpreting them. Software requirements should distinguish mandatory controls from workflow preferences and future improvements.

02

Design evidence and access together

A compliance workflow needs understandable statuses, responsible reviewers and links to the supporting records. Define who can submit, amend, approve and export information. Keep the history needed to explain important decisions while limiting access to sensitive material. Agree retention and correction requirements for the specific records involved.

03

Validate with realistic exceptions

Test incomplete submissions, conflicting evidence, overdue reviews and unauthorised actions as well as the normal approval path. Confirm that integrations and exports preserve the context a reviewer needs. Britixo can scope the application and delivery work; legal interpretation, regulated decisions and final acceptance remain with the appropriately authorised people.
