Before you start

Use a case decision to record how the team is handling a detected exception. Check the underlying evidence before closing a case.

Follow these steps

  1. Open Review for the case and inspect the native evidence link.
  2. Select open, acknowledged, in_progress, resolved or dismissed as appropriate.
  3. Enter clear decision or resolution notes explaining the evidence and next action.
  4. Choose Save case decision.
  5. Reopen the register and check status and the property timeline.

Check it worked

The saved status and decision notes describe the current operational handling of the exception.

If something does not look right

A resolved machine finding can reopen when the same exception is detected again. Dismissed findings are handled differently and remain dismissed during the scan; use dismissal only for a documented reason.

Questions and answers

What happens when evidence is corrected?

The scan can automatically resolve eligible active machine findings that are no longer detected within the scanned scope.

Can I reopen a closed case?

Choose an active status and save. Reopening clears stale resolution metadata.

Can tenant-confirmed repair completion resolve a case?

It can resolve an active Flow case linked to that remedial request. It does not alter or approve the native compliance certificate.
