Record and review contractor credentials
Record supplier evidence and its expiry so the team can review readiness before allocation.
Before you start
Record supplier evidence and its expiry so the team can review readiness before allocation.
Follow these steps
- Choose Add credential and select the native Supplier.
- Enter Credential type, Reference, Issuer, Issue date and Expiry date as appropriate.
- Mark Required only when that credential should block new allocation after expiry.
- Attach PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG or WebP evidence up to 10 MB and add notes.
- Choose Save credential, then use Open evidence to verify the stored file.
- Review supplier readiness and due-soon warnings before allocating further work.
Check it worked
The credential appears against the intended supplier with the correct dates, required flag and accessible evidence.
If something does not look right
An expired required row blocks allocation; an optional expiry can produce a warning. The current save form adds a credential row, so check for existing rows before adding another. An expired required historical row can continue to block until it is corrected through a supported administrative process.
Questions and answers
Is a file mandatory?
The save path permits a credential without an attachment. Operational readiness alone does not prove the original certificate has been reviewed.
When is a credential due soon?
The readiness check uses a 30-day window.
Who can open evidence?
Authenticated authorised staff or the owning supplier subject to scope and policy. Evidence is not intended as a public file URL.
