Code-backed scope These instructions follow Human Resource Management v1.3.0. Use only controls visible to your permission level and confirm the saved record or audit entry after every action.
What you need before you start
- Access to Admin Area → Setup → Modules → Human Resource Management → Upgrade Database.
- The Administrator / module upgrade access capability or administrator access.
- The correct employee, record, period or authorised evidence.
How to do it
- Open Setup → Modules.
- Find Human Resource Management and confirm a database upgrade is available.
- Click Upgrade Database once.
- Wait for the platform to finish migrations 120 and 130.
- Reload the module list and confirm no database-upgrade badge remains.
- Open Human Resources → HR Command Centre and check database health.
What the module checks
- Migration 120 and 130 both call the portable human_resource_management_install() routine.
- Each migration affects only the currently connected tenant database.
- The routines create missing tables/columns and backfill compatible existing data; they do not require destructive table replacement.
What happens next
- Automated rota tables and settings are available.
- Employee Record Centre tables/columns and document versioning are available.
- Existing employee profiles and documents are linked/backfilled where matching data exists.
Troubleshooting
- If the control is missing, confirm the required HRM permission and module version 1.3.0.
- If saving fails, correct the exact field or state named in the validation message.
- If an email/automation is missing, review the module delivery/audit log and host cron/mail settings.
HR data safety Restrict identity, right-to-work, payroll, bank, health, disciplinary and document information to authorised staff. Do not place protected values in free-text notes, email recipients or screenshots.
