Convert Warehouse and stock transactions
Post approved stock receipts, deliveries, opening stock and loss adjustments when the Warehouse integration is active.
What this feature does
Post approved stock receipts, deliveries, opening stock and loss adjustments when the Warehouse integration is active. It forms part of Britixo Enterprise CRM's Accounting & Bookkeeping module and uses the module's permission-aware controller, status and mapping flow rather than a generic spreadsheet process.
How the module flow works
The module contains tables for stock imports, stock exports, loss adjustments and opening stock and listens to add, update, approval, delete and class hooks.
Accounting entries depend on source valuation and configured inventory, cost and variance accounts.
When Warehouse records are edited after conversion, use the supported lifecycle and verify the linked accounting result.
Step-by-step workflow
- Confirm Warehouse and mappings are active.
- Open the relevant Warehouse transaction tab.
- Review approval status, quantities, unit costs and total value.
- Confirm item or group mappings.
- Convert or confirm automatic conversion.
- Compare inventory and cost-of-sales lines.
- Reconcile the accounting inventory balance to Warehouse valuation.
Important fields and decisions
What happens after completion
After the action is saved, Britixo keeps the Accounting record connected to its source and updates the visible status or ledger data supported by this workflow. Review the saved result rather than relying only on a success message. Where the action posts accounting data, total debits and credits must balance and the accounts must match the approved mapping or manual selection.
- Open the saved record and confirm its final status.
- Review the source reference and every debit and credit line where ledger data was created.
- Use the relevant register, ageing, reconciliation or report to verify the wider effect.
Controls, checks and common mistakes
- Do not post quantity-only data as a guessed value.
- Do not convert opening stock twice.
- Review loss adjustments for approval.
- Investigate negative inventory and valuation anomalies.
- Use the least destructive correction available and record the reason for material changes.
- Do not bypass a permission, approval or closed-period control by changing unrelated data.
