Britixo Practice Management Software for Real Estate includes dedicated tools for tenant and rental management, helping agencies, landlords, and brokers keep all tenancy records centralised. From adding tenant details to monitoring rental payments, Britixo ensures a smooth rental process with clear visibility of ongoing agreements.
Step-by-Step: Managing Tenants and Rentals in Britixo
🏢 1. Accessing Tenant Management
From the left menu, go to Tenants .
This displays all active, past, and prospective tenants linked to properties in your system.
➕ 2. Adding a New Tenant
Click Add Tenant .
Fill in:
Name
Contact Information (email, phone, address)
Assigned Property
Lease Start and End Date
Monthly Rent Amount
Security Deposit (if applicable)
Save the record.
📝 3. Creating and Linking Rental Agreements
After adding a tenant, go to their profile.
Click Add Agreement and upload or generate the rental contract.
Include terms such as payment due date, maintenance responsibilities, and renewal options.
💳 4. Tracking Rental Payments
Go to the Payments tab in the tenant’s profile.
Record each payment made (manual entry) or link it to invoice payments if using Britixo’s billing system.
View Overdue Payments to follow up with reminders.
🔄 5. Managing Lease Renewals or Terminations
Use the Lease Expiry Report to identify contracts nearing the end date.
For renewals, update the lease term in the tenant’s profile.
For terminations, mark the tenant as Former Tenant and archive the record if needed.
💡 Tip: Linking rental invoices directly to Britixo’s billing system can automate payment tracking and reminders, reducing manual admin work.
