Choose people around the work
An agent answering a new enquiry needs different preparation from someone qualifying a complex B2B opportunity. We review the type of conversations, the knowledge needed and the decisions agents are allowed to make before confirming the team and start date. UK location and native English delivery do not replace task-specific training.
Describe your customers, their typical questions, terminology and any accessibility needs. If the work requires a particular language, specialist qualification, regional knowledge or regulated advice, identify it early. Those requirements must be assessed and included in a separate agreed scope where applicable.
Make the service sound like your business
We agree introductions, tone, pronunciation, common answers and a practical approach to difficult conversations. The aim is a confident human exchange, with accurate facts and a clear next step. Scripts support the conversation rather than requiring agents to read an unsuitable line regardless of the caller’s question.
Your nominated owner approves the knowledge and handling rules. When prices, availability or policies change, the agent brief needs a reliable update process. A dated knowledge source and one accountable approver are more useful than several contradictory documents.
Support agents with ownership and review
An agent should know who to contact when a customer needs help beyond their authority. We define escalation routes, information to capture and what the caller may be promised. Reporting and quality review then show where the brief or workflow needs improvement.
Shared scheduled capacity, a dedicated team and an exclusive full-time allocation are different arrangements. The published hour blocks do not imply a named permanent agent, unlimited simultaneous cover or automatic extended hours. Dedicated staffing, resilience, supervision and continuity requirements are confirmed in the quotation.
