Gaming and Metaverse Software Planning
Evaluate identity, digital assets, moderation and operations before adding Web3 components to a gaming experience.
01
Start with the player experience
Define what players need to do and why a distributed component would improve that experience. Accounts, inventories, multiplayer state and support workflows often have different consistency and recovery requirements. Compare a conventional service with a blockchain-based approach before assuming that every part of the product should use the same architecture.
02
Make asset and identity boundaries explicit
Describe who controls an account or asset, what happens when access is lost and which actions require user approval. Wallet interaction, external marketplaces and third-party services introduce dependencies beyond the game client. Design the user journey so people can understand those dependencies without relying on technical knowledge.
03
Plan the live service
A release needs moderation, incident handling, monitoring and a clear support route. Test account recovery, transaction failure and provider unavailability alongside the main player journey. Discuss applicable platform, age, payment and legal requirements with the responsible specialists before defining a production scope.
