AI Telemetry and Monitoring Software

Plan AI monitoring around reliability, evaluation signals, human review and proportionate handling of operational data.

01

Choose signals that answer an operating question

Latency, failure rates, usage and cost help explain whether an AI workflow is operating as expected. Quality measures need additional context, such as the task, evaluation method and representative examples. Define the question behind each metric before collecting data that no one will review.

02

Design for privacy and interpretation

Prompts and outputs can contain confidential information. Decide which metadata is sufficient, where redaction belongs and who can access any retained content. Record sampling rules and model versions so that a change in a chart can be interpreted. A monitoring signal is evidence for investigation, not automatic proof of unfairness, safety or compliance.

03

Make alerts actionable

Set an owner, response path and review process for each important alert. Connect incidents to the relevant deployment, evaluation and risk record. Test the alert on a controlled example and confirm that the responsible person can distinguish a transient event from a sustained problem requiring restriction or rollback.
