Review supplier job status normalisation
Understand accepted, allocated, in-progress, completed, cancelled and void values.
Before you start
Staff need maintenance authority, and payout writes require real_payout Edit or an administrator. Supplier contacts can act only for their assigned supplier identity.
Follow these steps
- Open the job or supplier invoice and match its maintenance reference and supplier.
- Understand accepted, allocated, in-progress, completed, cancelled and void values.
- The portal accepts Job Allocated, Acknowledged, In Progress, Completed and Cancelled/Void as supported targets. Completed and cancelled jobs cannot be moved back through ordinary portal progression; the server checks the transition, not only the displayed label.
- The supplier, maintenance request, status and financial evidence agree.

Check it worked
The supplier, maintenance request, status and financial evidence agree.
If something does not look right
If the expected result is missing, check the saved record, the current workspace and the action’s permissions. Record the exact validation message; do not repeat a state-changing action until you know whether the first attempt saved.
Questions and answers
Does completing a job pay the supplier?
No. Completion can create a Pending supplier invoice. Review and record payment through the supplier invoice/payout workflow separately.
Why can I no longer reassign or reopen a job?
An existing supplier invoice restricts reassignment and return to early job states. A paid invoice also blocks cancellation. Review the linked invoice before changing the job.
