Upload property attachments
Add files through the supported listing attachment action.
Before you start
You need property View or View Own plus the relevant Create, Edit or Delete capability. Creating or saving a property requires a landlord.
Follow these steps
- Open Properties and choose the existing listing, or the new-listing form for a new property.
- Add files through the supported listing attachment action.
- Use allowed file types/sizes and verify the stored relation/visibility.
- Save the property, then reopen its detail page and check the changed values.
Fields, rules and limits
- Use allowed file types/sizes and verify the stored relation/visibility.
- Property uploads pass file-content and extension checks. The general server validator caps a file at 50 MiB; image controls accept JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP and reject invalid images. The chosen form and hosting limits may be stricter. PDF controls require a real PDF.
Check it worked
The saved property shows the intended values with its landlord and scope intact.
If something does not look right
If the expected result is missing, check the saved record, the current workspace and the action’s permissions. Record the exact validation message; do not repeat a state-changing action until you know whether the first attempt saved.
Questions and answers
Why does Save ask me to select a landlord?
The property save handler requires a landlord. Select the correct existing landlord in the form; a typed owner name is not a substitute for the selected relationship.
Can listing privacy make private evidence public?
No. Listing privacy and authenticated file access are separate controls. Inspect the permitted listing content without placing identity or tenancy evidence in public attachments.
