Define who the software is for
Describe the organisations, roles and problems your product serves. Identify exclusions as clearly as target criteria: unsupported territories, company sizes, use cases or integration needs. Agents need enough understanding to ask useful questions without pretending to be implementation consultants.
For requested demo follow-up, capture the context of the request and what the contact wants to achieve. For a new outbound campaign, assess the source, relevance and permitted use of the contact data before calling. Business-to-business does not remove screening, objection or data protection responsibilities.
Agree qualification before filling calendars
Qualification might include the current process, business challenge, approximate team scale, required capability and the next decision step. Choose questions that help the salesperson prepare, and avoid forcing every contact through a rigid interrogation. A meeting is not automatically an accepted opportunity.
Define who should attend, which specialist can help and what makes a booking unsuitable. Calendar rules need time zones, buffers, confirmation wording and handling for reschedules. Agents should not promise product features, integration compatibility or commercial terms beyond the approved knowledge and authority.
Complete the handover and learn from it
The CRM record should distinguish a contact attempt, a conversation, a qualified meeting and the sales team’s later acceptance. Capture a short account of the need, relevant constraints and agreed next step. This allows feedback to improve targeting instead of rewarding calendar volume alone.
An illustrative campaign could follow up businesses that asked about replacing a manual service process, identify their current system and arrange a focused demonstration. Conversion depends on the offer, audience, product fit and sales follow-up. Britixo does not guarantee appointments, qualified pipeline or revenue from a purchased hour block.
